It always starts this way
jagged limbs
trying to climb
the beats
my body is a coat hanger
a stiff tilt of self-conscious knots
and then suddenly
as if the music
has warmed up
my bones
my wires
turn to water
and like the sea
I find my rhythm
and I could do this
forever.
