I sometimes think we are so alike
we are interchangeable
like a pair of socks
but then I come home
with a scarf for our niece
which you laugh and say
looks like something a dolphin
would get caught in
and this makes me want to kiss you
in a way that I doubt
one sock ever felt
about the other.
