It struck me as funny
that I would have boy bits
inside me.
To grow toenails and elbows and another set of lungs
is strange enough
but the “winkle,” as my friend calls it
is quite something.
It’s his now
I’m quite clear about that
but I’m still a little proud
of the winkle I grew.
