Love is not fragile

Who taught you
to be sparing
with your love

as though your heart was a bank
as though love could dry up

nonsense

it is as if the ocean complained
it was too
wet

love is not fragile
it is as common as breath

it is play money
it is a race
to give more

go first
say it with impunity

you think you will ache
with vulnerability
but the strangest thing will happen

you will nearly drown
with peace.

such a wonderful first poem to read
I have always maintained our hearts can not break…
they bend they bounce
and bruise
but love.. ah love
that sweet rush..
the tender blush
changes our vibration instantly
all one needs do…
is look upon what pleases you
and see the love you share already…
ahhhh
thank you
spreading love today and always ♫♥

Beautiful. And I love the new site design! It’s been awhile since I visited. Very cool.

Oh, this is absolutely gorgeous. I’ve visited your blog before, and I need to remember to stop by more often. “you will nearly drown with peace…” Melty-good words.

“you will nearly drown
with peace.”

I have taken more and more to saying “I love you” to the people in my life I never had before – like our board consultant for instance who I do fiercely love – it has been exactly as you wrote – like drowning in peace – beautiful and full and recharging in a blissfully electric way!

how beautiful and wonderfully moving.  I shared with my sister who will share with my little niece to reinforce the idea that love is so vast and uncontained.   Abundant love to you.

This is gorgeous.  Sometimes the hardest thing is deciding to love.  Love with no strings attached, now that is an amazing thing.
