My son announced
that he had decided
to settle instead
for the Guinness Book
of Normal Records
and in a world
that promotes
YouTube fame
over anything else,
I didn’t have the heart
to tell him that book
doesn’t exist,
so I just smiled
and said if he worked hard
he just might
make it.
