I grew lungs
and earlobes.
I trained my limbs
to run wild.
I learned how to do math,
make curry and
when to walk
away.
And I am only
halfway done.
So if you think
I am going to decline
from here,
welcome to my version of aging,
where wisdom compounds
and laughter is louder than loss,
and I am so comfortable
in my skin
I never iron
it anymore
at all.
