I read about the guy
who tightrope walked across Niagara Falls
and I feel like I do
when I watch nature shows
on cheetahs or great white sharks
how is it that he and I
are of the same species
me wrapped in books and coffee shops
his skin made of magnets
pulling him
always
to the edge.
